DAY 1: HANOI-ARRIVAL AND CITY TOUR
Meet our driver at airport on arrival Noi Bai international airport and transfer to your hotel, next will start our sightseeing city including of :
The complex of 4 spots reflecting the simple life of the great leader, beloved Hochiminh President of Vietnam, Hero of national liberation and a great man of world culture. This complex (visit at our side only, Close on Monday & Friday and Oct + Nov of yearly)comprises of the Hochiminh mausoleum (outside only) where the remains of The Hochiminh President is kept, then the house on stilts, at the heart of the capital, where he lived and worked Next is Presidential Palace, which was built in 1906 where the president of Vietnam works. Our next stop is the One Pillar pagoda (built in 1049).
Next, we will visit the Temple of literature (the first university of Vietnam built in 1070), transfer back downtown for walking in the old quarter to visit the old Catholic Church and some shopping before transfer back your hotel. Overnight Hanoi
DAY 2: HANOI- SAPA- CAT CAT VILLAGE TREKS/ BY ROAD (EXPRESS HIGHWAY)
Have breakfast at hotel and next will transfer to bus station for 4 hours driving to Sapa.
Take a scenic drive to the hill station of Sapa, some 1 hour from the train station, enjoy the spectacular views of rice –terraced mountains and black H’mong and red Dao hill tride people dressed in their colorful wares walking along the roadside.
On arrival, check in hotel and this Pm will start to hike down slope from the main road in Cat cat to visit black H’mong village and waterfall ( this round treks some 6 km), tour ends, walk back to your hotel.
Free for your shopping at Sapa market and also your own dinner tonight in town.

What is the best local food to try in Sapa town?

1. Thang Co Dish (like fixed soup): This dish is known as the traditional dish of H'mong people, cooked from horsemeat, horse’s viscera and horse’s bone, all made into a soup with 12 spices from cardamon, ginger, citronella, anise to cinnamon twig. When local people cook this dish, they often stew for couple of hours. The Thang Co Sapa is served with fresh vegetable and local red hot pepper.
2. Cap Nach Pork A special kind of pork which is often found in Northwest Vietnam. There're quite many ways to cook this dish with different ingredient but its highlight is the fleshy, soft yet tough texture of the pork meat. It's said that the pigs living on mountainous areas are not caged and free to run around therefore their meat is so much better than regular pork meat.
3.Salmon Hotpot Yes, it's true, you can eat salmon in Sapa. And it's not a rare dish here, in fact, salmon restaurants are everywhere to be found. A salmon dish that worth trying the most is Salmon Hotpot, especially in freezing days. The fish meat comes is a heaven match with the hotpot broth with a familiar sour taste from local vegetables and herbs.

When is the best time to travel Sapa Mountains?
Thanks to its high altitude, Sapa enjoys one of the most favorable weather in Vietnam with average temperature for all year round is 15 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius and humidity from 83-87%. You can visit Sapa almost all year round because every month there is something to see in this lovely highland town of Vietnam. In summer time, Sapa makes a great getaway from the busy, heated cities. Sapa in summer is much milder than lower regions. Sapa in this time is mostly hot for domestic travelers. For foreign tourists, Sapa is best to visit in either March-May or September-December. Especially in later months of year, Sapa shines with the golden terraced rice fields everywhere you go.
DAY 3: SAPA - TA PHIN VILLAGE TREKS
After breakfast, this morning we will drive for 15km just outside where we visit the village of Red Dao in Taphin.
Start our walking around this village for sightseeing the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains and rice terraced paddies, also great chances of meeting the Red Dao ethnic people.
Next is returned back to Sapa town for lunch.
lunch and free this afternoon for your own to climb up Ham Rong mountain to enjoy a cool atmosphere and charming landscapes such as cloud ground and stone garden, gardens, garden of medicinal plants, especially the garden of various orchids and specific houses on stilts of ethnic minorities.
A great deal of rocks in shape of dragon claws and fin appear to our eyes and we will think of being lost in a wonderland. Following cliff will lead us to the heaven gate I and II.
Standing on the peak, you will enjoy particularly interesting landscapes around as much as you wish and throw your view farer to make the most of poetic beauty of Sapa Mountains looming in clouds. Overnight in Sapa. (B/L)
DAY 4: SAPA- LAO CHAI- TA VAN VILLAGE- LAO CAI-HANOI/ BY ROAD
Have breakfast at hotel and next our car and guide will come to pick up for transfer down to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van where the home of H'mong and Zay ethnic groups.

This afternoon, will take shuttle bus on the same express highway to drive back Hanoi (some 4 hours) and check in the hotel on arrival, free time your ownvalley of Muong Hoa. Residents are mainly the H’Mong ethnic, Giay, and Red Dao… with approximately 1000 people.
The road leads to Ta Van village that is small and narrow. Along two sides has a fertile terraced field which adorns by the green of corn and rice. When visitors come to Ta Van village, they will not be amazed at the simple beauty of the houses in the village. Previously, Ta Van based on the customs and characteristic of the Giay in Lao Cai. They live together at the bottom, mountains, the valleys, along streams.
Growing rice is the major profession of the Giay. Besides, they also produce instruments and engraved silver. They live in both stilted houses and common houses with a solemn central part which is served as a place for ancestor altar and guest reception.
The Giay have quite various cultures with fairy-tale, poetry, proverbs and riddles. Costumes of the Giay are simple: women with short eczema, wearing cloth bag with embroidered flowers; man also wears pants and shirt. If having the opportunity to come here, visitors can enjoy some special dishes of ethnic Giay such as: roast fish of Muong Hum, horse meat of Muong Khuong, sticky rice of Van Ban.
